What is Card Avenue?

Card Avenue is the first online gift card registry. It allows you to ask your guests for a total amount of gift cards for specific stores and restaurants. This lets them contribute toward your larger goals in any amount they can afford.

How does Card Avenue work?

With a few details about your upcoming event, you'll get a personalized registry page to share with friends and family. After you've created a registry, browse the site to find more gift cards you want and add them to your registry in the amount you desire. When guests purchase a gift card in any amount, they enter the amount on your registry page and their contribution is deducted from the requested amount.

Is there a charge for creating a gift registry?

No. Unlike many online gift registries, Card Avenue never charges you any fees. All of our services are completely free.

What information is required to create a registry?

To create a registry you'll need to to provide the following information: Event type, event date, event city and state, Your first and last name, shipping address and your email address.

You can also add a custom welcome message to your registry page to provide guests with more information about the purchases you plan to make.

Who can create a gift registry?

Anyone can create a gift registry at CardAvenue.com.

Can I create more than one registry?

Yes. You can make as many registries you'd like for any number of events.

Is there a limit on how many stores I can include in my registry?

No. You can add any number of stores and restaurants to your registry list.

What if a gift card I want isn't in the list?

If a merchant you want gift cards for isn't listed on the site, let us know and we'll do our best to add it. We cannot add local shops or restaurants at this time.

How do I share my registry?

When you create a registry at CardAvenue.com, you'll get a personal URL to share with friends and family. You can email them this link using your personal email address, or use the convenient Facebook and Twitter sharing buttons when you sign-in to manage your registry.

How do I edit my registry?

To edit your registry, click on the "Sign In" button located at the top right of the page. Then, enter your email address and password in the window. Once you're signed in you can make any necessary changes.

I forgot my password. How do I retrieve it?

If you've forgotten your password, click the "Forgot Password" link on the sign-in screen. From there you can reset your password using the email account you registered with.

Do guests need to register before giving to my registry?

No. Guests are not required to create an account to contribute to your registry. All they have to do is visit your page and enter the gift card amount they've purchased. They will be required to provide payment information when ordering gift cards from our trusted partners.

What happens to my registry after the event ends?

Your registry will remain active on CardAvenue.com until you sign-in and delete it. The link to delete is found below your registry management options.

I accidentally deleted my registry. How do I fix this?

Once a registry has been deleted, it cannot be recovered. You will have to create a new registry.

Are there any minimum or maximum amounts required to give?

No. You can give any amount you'd like, no matter how large or small. However, most gift cards aren't available in denominations under $10.

How does the recipient get their gift card?

Guests are responsible for gift card delivery and can choose to ship the card to the address provided on your registry, or choose a different form of delivery.

What's the difference between full-price and discount gift cards?

A full-price gift card is usually purchased directly from the retailer or one of their partners at the same price as the value of the card. A discount gift card is purchased from an online reseller at a price below the value of the card.

I entered the wrong amount for a gift card I purchased. How do I fix this?

If you entered the wrong amount on a registry page for a gift card you purchased, email customer service at customerservice@cardavenue.com and we'll be happy to help you make the corrections.

I have not received gift cards purchased from my registry?

CardAvenue.com does not sell gift cards or process gift card transactions. We connect you with reliable gift card sellers and all gift card purchases are made through their sites. Guests are responsible for gift card delivery and can choose to ship the card to the address provided on your registry, or choose a different form of delivery.
